Zigi and John installed my solar tube lights today and I could not be more pleased with the result! I had one 14in installed in my dark windowless office and one 14in in my kitchen. I can’t believe the difference they make in the house. I was so happy!! I am so glad I had Carolina Skylights do this for me. They were so professional and courteous, knowledgeable about their product and cleaned up after they finished. If you're on the fence about installing sun tunnels, go for it—they are 100% worth it, even if the sun's trajectory isn't perfect. They make a huge difference in the overall feel of the house.

It has been almost a year since we had ours installed, and it is still our favorite home improvement project. The team was great, and the owner, Ziggy, was pretty insightful, and gave us really good recommendations. The installers were also thorough, they check the placemen of the tunnels to make sure it fit well in the ceiling, cleaned up after they were done, etc

We had a tricky 2-tube install through the metal/plywood roof of our 150-yr old South Carolina farmhouse. Zigi and his crew handled this job with great care and intelligence, avoiding the solid-oak rafters and joists to bring relaxing light exactly where needed in our simple yet (formerly) dark kitchen. After all our previous efforts failed, they have invigorated the one gloomy space in our home. Bravo, Carolina Skylights!

We recently moved into a condo with almost no natural light in the main living area. After doing lots of research and getting multiple quotes, we chose Carolina Skylights to install 3 Solatubes in our home.
We picked Solatubes not only because they offered the features we wanted, such as square-shaped lights and dimmers, but because they are the innovative leaders of the industry with a reputation for quality. We wanted the installation to be done by a certified Solatube professional: someone with lots of experience who would stand by their work. Once we met with Zigi and toured the Carolina Skylights showroom, we felt confident we had made the right choice.
After taking measurements and making recommendations, Zigi suggested we start with two lights first, then add more if we felt we needed them. That conservative, no-pressure approach impressed us. The company was flexible, working with us on scheduling and payment, which we really appreciated. Because our roofline was tricky, installation took a little longer than expected. Zigi and his crew actually came out to finish the job on a holiday so we wouldn’t have to take a day off work. When they were finished, we couldn’t get over how much brighter the rooms looked. Pictures don’t do it justice, but we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
Honest and fair, knowledgeable and professional, we highly recommend Carolina Skylights!
